Julie Kosbab is the principal of betweenstations digital, an online marketing consultancy focused on a human-centered approach to digital marketing that drives measurable business results through a convergence of SEO, content, paid media and social strategy.
With more than 15 years’ experience in digital marketing and online communications, she has worked for some of the Twin Cities largest companies, and with small businesses across the country. She got her start in e-commerce marketing with Fingerhut before the dot-com bust, helped Imation launch web sites in more than 20 countries worldwide, and assisted thousands of law firms with online lead generation while leading the SEO team at FindLaw, a Thomson-Reuters business. Her agency and freelance experience has ranged from advising start-up healthcare businesses on HIPPA-compliant marketing to predicting content trends for Fortune 50 corporations.
When not geeking out online, Julie serves on the board of directors of Streets.MN, a 501(3)c organization devoted to discussion of land use and planning in Minnesota. She also is active as a bicycle advocate and safety instructor, and aspires to getting a zoning exception to raise chickens in her yard.
